【摘要】:Thedeterminationofendotoxinconcentrationsinmetalworkingfluidsisaparameterthatcanbeusedindecision-makingforprudentfluidmanagementpractices(fluiddraining,cleaning,rechargingorbiocidedosages).Thistestmethodprovidesatestmethodforanalystswhoperformquantitativeendotoxinanalysesofwater-misciblemetalworkingfluids.1.1Thistestmethodcoversquantitativemethodsforthesamplinganddeterminationofbacterialendotoxinconcentrationsinwatermisciblemetalworkingfluids(MWF).1.2UsersofthistestmethodneedtobefamiliarwiththehandlingofMWF.1.3ThistestmethodgivesanestimateoftheendotoxinconcentrationinthesampledMWF.1.4ThistestmethodreplacesE2250.1.5Thistestmethodseekstominimizeinter-laboratoryvariationofendotoxindatabutdoesnotensureuniformityofresults.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
