【摘要】:Thewaterretentionoftheinsulationcanresultinanincreaseinweightandaresultantpotentialdegradationinthepropertiesoftheinsulation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedureforevaluatingthewaterabsorptionpotentialofblanketinsulationforaircraft,therebyprovidingameasureofpotentialweightincreaseduetowaterretentioninanaircraft.1.2Thewaterrepellency(orretention)characteristicsofmaterialsmaybeaffectedbyconditionssuchascontaminationortemperatureofthewater.Valuesobtainedasaresultofthistestmethodmaynotadequatelydescribethewaterrepellencycharacteristicsofmaterialssubjecttotheseconditions.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
