【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesaguidetoanyindividual,group,agency,orcodebodyonthemethodsoftestfortrussassembliesfabricatedfromalltypesofconstructionmaterials.Samplesizeisgenerallykepttoaminimumtoreducecosts.Themethodsmaybeusedtoapplyproofloadstoanassemblyortotestittofailure.Informationobtainedincludesstrengthandstiffnessdata,andifassembliesaretestedtotheirultimateloadcarryingcapacity,thefailuremethodormechanismcanbeobserved.1.1Thispracticeisintendedasaguideforuseinthetestingoftrussassembliesfabricatedfromalltypesofconstructionmaterials.Whilethepracticemaybeusedforthetestingofavarietyofassemblies,itisprimarilyintendedtobeusedinthetestingofthosetrussesdesignedtobespacedat1.2m(48in.)centersorgreater.Itcanbeused,butitisnotnormallyintended,forthetestingofwoodresidentialtrussedrafters.Eitherprooftestsorteststodestructionmayberun.1.2Limitations8212;Itisnotintendedthatthispracticebeusedforroutinequalitycontroltesting.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
